Ichabod Flat Oysters was created in 2010 when Donald Wilkinson, Sean Withington and Michael Withington sought to renew their grant that was previously developed to farm mussels. All three obtained individual 3.75 acre grants located on Ichabod Flat in Plymouth Harbor. These were the first aquaculture grants licensed in Plymouth Harbor.

All three farmers have worked collaboratively over the years to provide high quality oysters and great tasting oysters. We have been blessed to have had reliable dedicated employees over the years who shared our love for the ocean.

Ichabod Flat is a small collective of farms owned by Don Wilkinson, and brothers Sean & Michael Withington. They and their crew have been at it since 2010, as the first oyster farms in the rapidly-growing aquaculture program of Plymouth, MA. They work year-round, through heat waves and cold fronts, rain or hail, (and the occasional beautiful day), to deliver their oysters nationwide.
